Gold Polka Dots X Seamly.co: How to Wear the Wrapped Cardigan

A bit back, I (virtually) met Hanna, the stylish woman behind Gold Polka Dots.

After starting a style blog, she began learning more about the origins of her clothes — and the human and environmental impact of the fashion industry. Now, she’s started focusing on ethically-made apparel, and I’m thrilled that she featured one of our best-sellers, the Wrapped Cardigan, on her blog.

The BEST part about this collaboration is that Hanna came up with a few new ways to wear the cardi. You can see all of the looks on her blog — here are a few of my favorite photos and “how to” in her own words!

THE OPEN-BACK SWEATER:

“For the open back sweater, I wore it backwards and tied the cardigan behind me. I folded the top of the cardigan down so it wouldn’t completely cover my neck making it look like an off the shoulder sweater.”

THE V-NECK:

“For the v-neck, I grabbed the two sides and crossed them in front. I tied it behind me with the two longest points of the cardigan.”

…and that’s it for today! I’m in NYC for a short stint, and will be at The Future of Fashion 2: Reducing Waste in the Industry on Tuesday, April 22nd. If you’re in town and would like to come, click that link for tickets. I’d love to see you there!

And if you’ve got photos of your Wrapped Cardigan, tag it on Instagram with #seamlyco so we can all see! :)
